Folk musical instruments

The other day I found the picture of  the SITAR in  my English class.

I’m interested in folk musical instruments.

The sitar is especially one of my favorite instruments. I love the beautiful sound,  its reverberation  brings a trailing vibrato note Veeeee~~~~~~nn .

It has 18~20 strings. Seven strings which run over the curved frets are played strings, and the remainder which run underneath frets are sympathetic strings.

I’d like to listen to the live performance of the sitar and enjoy a  heartfelt sound.

Field of Dreams

Matsui and Nagashima were presented National Honor Awards.  The ceremony was held at Tokyo Dome on May 5.
I wasn't  a fan of Yomiuri Giants, so I didn't  know much about them.
After Matsui  became a member of the New York Yankees,  I was interest in him.
I imagined his sincere attitude to baseball  attracts many people in New York and Japan.
I like his modest and warm personality with his  good sense as  a baseball player.

Mt. Fuji

Mt. Fuji to become World Heritage site

I’m happy to hear that as  I love FUJISAN.

Its splendid view gives me courage and generosity.

I’ve climbed Mt. Fuji.  We had to walk a rocky (reddish brown) trail, which had no flowers.  I became exhausted when I reached the top, but the next morning I was really impressed seeing the sunrise from the top of the mountain.
Now, I prefer looking at Mt. Fuji than climbing it.
